You have landed on the website for The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in The State of Colorado, or NSCDA in CO. Thank you for your interest in our mission-based membership organization, founded in Colorado in 1896, with a mission of historic preservation, education, and patriotic service. In Colorado, we lean into historic preservation as we own two museum properties. The Hotel de Paris Museum was a first-class mining boom hotel, founded by Frenchman Louis Dupuy in 1875, which still stands as a hub of the historic core of Georgetown, CO. The Hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places, a National Historic Landmark and a Site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. We still have a guest register from the Hotel, and Coloradans love to find their ancestors in the register online! Be sure not to miss our myriad events such as the Christmas Market in December, Bastille Day in July, wine tastings and many other new events throughout the year. These properties are Great American Treasures sites. To learn more, please go to the websites herein: https://hoteldeparismuseum.org www.greatamericantreasures.org |
